Ongoing project on so called experimental-representative villages of Ukraine. These kind of villages were designed and constructed in 1960-1970s as a social experiment in the most successful agricultural areas. Its aim was to blur the line between lifestyle of city residents and farmers. To achieve that, the new villages were designed according to typical urban ideas of soviet modernism
Step by step I’m visiting these villages today to spend sometime there, try to immerse myself into daily life of residents and understand how a social experiment influenced lives of people and how they understand an idea of an utopical city-village now.
