Documentation is the best long-term investment you can make in your art practice. It will be the backbone of your art archive. As a photographer with over 10 years of experience in documentation of art spaces, I specialize in capturing the essence of art exhibitions and contemporary art installations. My work in documenting exhibitions is not just about creating a visual record, but about preserving the unique atmosphere and narrative of each show.

Over the years, I've had a privilege of photographing exhibitions for most art institutions and galleries in Ukraine. I worked with such spaces and organisations as National Art Museum of Ukraine, Mystetskyi Arsenal, Ukrainian House, The Naked Room, Ukrainian Museum of Contemporary Art, Izolyatsia, Goethe-Institut Ukraine, British Council Ukraine, Mala Galereya of Mystetskyi Arsenal, KyivArtWeek, Scherbenko Art Center, Biruchiy Contemporary Art Project, Yermilov Centre, Museum of History of Ukraine, Avangarden Gallery, Ya Gallery Dnipro, Closer, Plivka, Festival of Young Ukrainian Artists, Pavillion of Culture, Ukrainian Pavillion at Venice Biennial, ArtSvit Dnipro, DCCC, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Stedley Art Foundation and others . My approach combines technical precision with a creative perspective, ensuring that each exhibition is captured in a way that reflects its true essence.

For me, documenting an exhibition is a deeply collaborative process. I work closely with curators, artists, and galleries to understand the vision behind the exhibition and translate it into a compelling photographic story. Each photograph is carefully composed to highlight not only the artworks but also the relationship between the space, the audience, and the pieces themselves.
